iPod touch

I just purchased an iPod touch and it is awesome. If the iPhone is any sweeter than this I will be buying one no doubt.

Isn't the iPod touch pretty much an iPhone with out the ability to make phone calls?

That is what I am thinking, if it is, I might give up my left nut for one. That thing is phenomenal.

I have strongly considered an iPhone or perhaps some other version of smart phone, but I'm going to wait until the AT&T does (or doesn't) go through. If it goes through in a reasonable time this year I'll see what kind of service we get around here.

The press release for the buyout hasn't been updated on the alltel website in months.

What problems do you see with the iphone?????? If that motha is anything near the iPod touch with decent phone service I'm sold. What are some things you see that are better/worse???? Have you had both????? Just wondering

i just dont like i anything really, the touch is cool, i mean its massive storage is nice, but you can get all the bells and whistles with other phones as well, plus you dont have to pay for the iphone. I just am not a fan, its cool and if you like it, you like it, I just like the pre and droid and many of the other smart phones. and back in wise co, they are useless from what im told.

But if the ipod touch is the same thing as the iphone why not just get a regular phone and keep the ipod touch?

Does the ipod touch have wifi? If so I can see no reason to get an iphone and pay the extra money for the data plan.

The only real difference between the Iphone and iTouch is the phone part. If you are a Verizon customer, and can hold on, I would bet later this year you will be able to use an iPhone with Verizon, but will probably be getting the original or 3G, but not the 3GS.

They are not useless in Wise Co. anymore. They do have service now, but it is patchy.
